Sarah Schuette, President of the MN Craft Cannabis Guild, is a seasoned soil chemist and entrepreneur dedicated to advancing the cannabis industry with over 15 years of expertise in analytical testing and consulting. As President of the MN Craft Cannabis Guild, and founder of Smarti Plantz, LLC, she has become a transformative figure in cannabinoid testing, organic cannabis cultivation and product development.
With a solid academic background in soil chemistry, Sarah established an agricultural testing lab and fertilizer manufacturing facility in Humboldt County, CA in 2012, where she deepened her knowledge of plant nutrition and soil health while reshaping legacy cultivation practices in Northern California . This entrepreneurial journey led her back to her home state of Minnesota to create Smarti Plantz, a cannabinoid testing service designed to provide fast, accurate, and affordable solutions for Minnesota’s growing cannabis sector.
Under her leadership, Smarti Plantz utilizes cutting-edge technologies that empower businesses to improve their internal processes. Recognizing the need for reliable cannabinoid potency testing, she positioned the company to deliver swift solutions for compliance inspections, quality control, and process improvement. Bob Walloch is Co-Founder and Operations Manager at CannaJoyMN (2023), a Mom & Pop retail cannabis seed and MN made edibles shop in Minneapolis, MN. Together with his partner and wife, Erin Walloch, they strive to bring amazing cannabis genetics to MN home growers and showcase some of the best local brands from here in MN.
Before starting CannaJoyMN, Bob worked in Healthcare Analytics and Actuarial Science consulting. During his tenure at several leading national health insurers and the Midwest’s leading hospital, he developed reporting systems, created monthly reserving estimates, and analyzed results for several insured populations to understand emerging and existing cost and use trends in healthcare.
Understanding the impact analytics can have, he’s works to bridge the analytical with cultivating cannabis at home. Home growers now have the opportunity to find each other and share ideas and experiences. He hopes that to be a part of helping to further build the bridges of tomorrow, today.
Bob has many years of healthcare analytics consulting experience and understands how to translate loose ideas into viable business plan, and can deliver results. In addition to this, Bob brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill in cannabis to the table.
Treasurer
Jude is a technology leader at the world’s 2nd largest insurance brokerage, and has held leadership roles in the technology and nonprofit space for more than two decades. He is a Certified Ganjier (2024) and is the co-founder/owner of a Minnesota based low dose dispensary (2018).

Jude has been an expert judge and a judges coordinator for the largest cannabis cup in the Midwest, as well as a judge in a handful of smaller market segment cannabis competitions. Jude is an avid home grower, he demonstrates strong knowledge and skill in the art and science of cannabis, and the relationship that he has cultivated with the plant is evident.

Ghislaine Ball, MBA, Certified Ganjier
With over 15 years of professional experience in cannabis and over 20 years in traditional business; Ghislaine combines business acumen with a deep understanding of cannabis science, quality and education. As the former managing director of the 420 Archive, a founder of the Minnesota Craft Cannabis Guild, and creator of the Terpene Tasting Kit, Ghislaine has been instrumental in preserving the history of prohibition, reconnecting people with their heritage and elevating our understanding of the artistry and technical skill involved in creating quality cannabis products. Her work with the 420 Archive is now part of the permanent collection on California history at UC Berkeley's Bancroft Library.
